Official Giveaway Rules: John Tinkers™ Dim Bulb Tester — Built in Episode One!

THE RULES

1. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase, payment, or other consideration is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law. 

2. Eligibility
The John Tinkers™ Dim Bulb Tester Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is open only to those who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The Giveaway is conducted by John Tinkers, which is a business entity and not a person (the “COMPANY”). The Giveaway is open to legal residents of any country where we may lawfully ship electronic equipment, and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of John Tinkers, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. 

3. Sponsorship
The Giveaway is sponsored by John Tinkers, located at Frankfort, Illinois, USA, and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by YouTube. 

4. Agreement to Rules
By participating, the Contestant ("You") agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of COMPANY as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Giveaway. 

5. Entry Period
Entries will be accepted online starting on October 22, 2025 at 8:00PM Eastern Time, and ending on at 9:00AM Eastern Time on the day after the John Tinkers channel (https://www.youtube.com/@JohnTinkers) reaches 5,000 subscribers. All online entries must be received by the time that the entry period ends. 

6. How to Enter
The Giveaway entry method is via the comments section of the YouTube video titled "Dim Bulb Testers," which is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nONKiOtp3O0 (the “VIDEO”). To enter, you must comment on the video and say words that substantially mean “Hello from “ and include the name of your country. You do not have to type the phrase in English. Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at COMPANY’s sole discretion. 

7. Prizes
The winner of the Giveaway will receive the exact Dim Bulb Tester built in the VIDEO, including the power cord and the incandescent bulbs used by the tester (the “PRODUCT”). The total retail value of the prize is approximately US$325.00. The prize is non-transferable. No substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent is permitted. If shipped outside of the United States of America, we must and will declare the correct value of the prize. You are responsible for any tax, duty, tariff or other fee. If the PRODUCT is returned to us for any reason, we are not responsible to re-send the item to you, and if we do, we reserve the right to collect our shipping cost from You prior to shipping again.

8. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be chosen by a random drawing supervised by COMPANY from eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. The winner will be notified via a reply to their winning comment and a public announcement in a future video within five (5) business days of selection. John Tinkers is not responsible for notification failures due to spam or incorrect contact information. 

9. Terms and Conditions
COMPANY can cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway if it's affected by issues like viruses, bugs, fraud, or unauthorized intervention. If this happens, COMPANY can choose a winner from eligible entries received before the action was taken. Any attempt to disrupt the Giveaway's operation may violate laws, and COMPANY may seek damages. By entering, you grant COMPANY the right to use your entry, name, likeness, and information about the Giveaway for promotional purposes without further compensation, where permitted by law. 

10. Release of Liability
By entering, you agree to release COMPANY and its associated parties from any liability for illness, injury, death, loss, or damage related to your participation, acceptance or use of the prize, technical issues, unavailability of services, unauthorized human intervention, or errors in administration or processing. 

11. Privacy Policy
Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy on the COMPANY website at https://john-tinkers.com/privacy. By entering, you agree to COMPANY’s collection and use of your personal information for administering the Giveaway and fulfilling the prize. COMPANY may appoint third parties to conduct, audit or investigate the Giveaway to ensure fairness and compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.

12. YouTube Community Guidelines
Entries must follow YouTube's Community Guidelines; non-compliant entries will be disqualified. YouTube does not sponsor, endorse, or administer this contest. 

13. Winner's List
To get the winner's name or a copy of these rules, mail a request with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to JOHN TINKERS, c/o PedFast Technologies, Fulfillment Services, 7777 West Lincoln Highway, Suite A, Frankfort, IL 60423. Requests must be received October 22, 2026.
